Verified by an independent third party, this latest certification expands WINAICO’s sustainability disclosures to include the NCX rectangular-cell module series, specifically designed to meet the rigorous environmental transparency requirements of the European market.
Quantifying the“Cradle-to-Grave” Environmental Impact
An EPD is a Type III environmental declaration developed in accordance with international standards ISO 14025 and EN 15804 + A2. Following rigorous third-party verification, these declarations are officially published within the International EPD® System. The standard provides a quantified disclosure of a product’s environmental footprint across its entire life cycle—from raw material extraction and manufacturing to transport, installation, usage, and end-of-life recycling. As global decarbonization trends accelerate, the EPD offers consistent and comparable data that directly supports Building Information Modeling (BIM), energy project evaluations, and public procurement processes across Europe, serving as a cornerstone of environmental impact evaluation..

Compared to its initial EPD, WINAICO has significantly broadened the scope of this declaration to include the NCX rectangular-cell module series across various power outputs and dimensions.
