The UN Environment Program estimates that 400 million tons of plastic waste are produced annually on Earth, 14 million of which eventually end up in the ocean, having a major negative impact on the environment. 2024 has been designated "Planet vs. Plastics" by the Earth Day organization, indicating that cutting waste at its source—particularly plastic products—is an urgent environmental concern.

For the purpose of to gain insight into trash management, including waste reduction, incineration, and recycling, as well as how to prevent air pollution during burning, WIN visited the Environmental Protection Bureau in Hsinchu City. After that, they participated in the beach cleanup, where they collectively removed numerous pieces of glass objects, plastic waste, and damaged fishing nets from the sand to bring back Hsinchu City's lovely and secure coastline.

This mission seeks to encourage the colleagues to consider environment and energy concerns from a variety of angles. Furthermore, the teammates positively influence the community by their constructive initiatives.
